“The Tapestry, is our universe. This world, and many others like it, He’aeven, Abys’sul, they are all a part of what we refer to as the Universal Tapestry. Parts of a larger whole, woven together by galaxies and dymensions.”
“Dymensions?”
“Yes, dymensions. There are some places that are not connected by the physical, that exist on another plane of existence. And some, that cross time and space. But that is something you will have to research in your own time.”
-Sariel to Lahatiel

The Tapestry is the collective term used to describe the known multiverse and the structures connecting it. It encompasses innumerable worlds, realms, planes of existence, timelines and the spaces between them.
Though often depicted as a woven structure, the Tapestry is not believed to possess a literal physical shape. The terminology of threads, weaving and the Tapestry is primarily used by Archivists to describe the relationships between worlds, lives and events.
No complete record of the Tapestry is known to exist.

WHAT IS KNOWN
• The Tapestry contains an unknown number of worlds and realms.
• Multiple versions of similar worlds may exist.
• Realms may possess different physical and metaphysical laws.
• Travel between worlds is possible through several known means.
• The structure of the Tapestry is maintained by four fundamental Pillars.
• Events occurring in one realm may affect others.
UNRESOLVED RECORDS
The full extent of the Tapestry remains unknown.
Archivists continue to debate whether the Tapestry possesses a finite boundary, how many realms currently exist, and whether every region of the known structure can be reached.
Several records concerning its origins remain incomplete or contradictory.
ARCHIVIST’S NOTE
Calling it a “multiverse” is technically accurate, though somewhat inadequate. A world is rarely as isolated as its inhabitants believe.
