Wow! This author creates worlds and characters that really come alive and stay with you long after you finish reading! The characters with all their own back stories and wants and desires leaves me wanting to know so much more! I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next one in the series!

This book has great world building and unique storyline. The characters are interesting and have good growth and development throughout the series.
The main character isn’t human, but he isn’t some unbeatable being, he’s still flawed as a person which means his character development had great opportunities to evolve.
The size characters are just as interesting tham the protagonist and have their own lives and interests outside of existing for the sake of the main character. Same as the villans.****

If you like deep, highly detailed fantasy that doesn’t hold your hand, this is one to look into.
This was a complex and thought-provoking read. The author takes a truly unique approach to classic tropes like Heaven and Hell, good versus evil, angels against demons, etc. The worldbuilding is extensive and meticulous, laying down a deep foundation for what promises to be an epic series… and it leaves you with plenty to ponder.
I especially loved the diverse characters—they felt distinct and brought a lot of fresh energy to the narrative.

A completely different take on Angels v. Demons. It is imaginative and the book is split into roughly two parts, before the angel falls and after. I really loved the second half of the book and found the dialogue realistic and witty. The story did eventually suck me in and I already downloaded book two.
