The Thread of Prophecy is the name given to a sequence of interconnected prophecies, individuals and events believed to stretch across numerous worlds and periods of history. Though individual prophecies may appear isolated, surviving records suggest they form parts of a much larger pattern.
The Thread does not appear to describe a single predetermined future. Interpretations differ considerably regarding the roles of fate, choice and those named within its prophecies, with many records only becoming understood after the events they describe have already begun.
The Thread’s ultimate purpose, origin and destination remain unknown.
