One such world of higher knowledge, one which exists somewhere between a physical Dymension and a spiritual plane, is known as He’aeven.
Roughly translated in the local dialect, it means ‘The Light of the Source.’
To everyone else, it is known simply as; Heaven.
By all accounts, its inhabitants the angels, are a race almost entirely unique throughout all of the Tapestry, similar only to their direct opposites in fact. They are not holy beings, or divine apparitions, or even spiritual entities like some species make them out to be, but they do take it upon themselves to protect other races and those they consider innocent. But this is something that they have chosen to do as a race, not because they were created to do so by the Source, or some divine entity, and that, I believe, is a most important distinction.

Heaven is an almost unique world upon the Tapestry.
It is not a world in the traditional sense, but it is not a higher plane either, even if it is considered a greater plane.
It is one landmass floating in a sea of stars and nebulae, yet still has the inhabitable atmosphere and gravity of somewhere like Earth.
Otherwise, it is a lush, vibrant place, with tall mountains, and rolling fields and valleys.
It’s inhabitants, the angels, live at peace with the nature around them, and take it upon themselves to try and bring that peace and tranquility to other worlds, by maintaining the balance.

WHAT IS KNOWN
• Heaven is a physical realm, full of spirituality, but not spiritual.
• It is the closest physical realm to the Source.
• It is inhabited by angels, but also some manner of celestial creatures also.
• It has enough active portals to be considered a Hub-world, but many of them have their access ‘restricted.’
• Though the place is mostly peaceful and lush, the realm is full of reminders of the long standing war with the demons.

• Both He’aeven, and Abys’sul are neighbours with Purgatory.
UNRESOLVED RECORDS
It is not known how this realm is physically linked to the Source, or how it came to be a single landmass. Angels do not typically use magic, but it may have had something to do with the realm’s creation.
Many theorists point out the similarities to the realm of Abys’sul, and it’s inhabitants, but this is usually dismissed as rumour, and is not recorded.
ARCHIVIST’S NOTE
He’aeven is also home of the Court, and the Grand Hall, the resting place that holds almost as much knowledge as the Grand Archive.
