One of them was her height, rough and wild looking, but stocky. He bore the ears of a predator race, specifically a Lupine atop his head, the tail to match. He was small for a wolf, the race typically known for their large warriors, but his face was hidden behind a bandanna, his grey eyes still with the focus of someone who knew what they were doing. The other two men were taller than Jade. One tall and wiry with the markings of a grazer upon him, possibly a deer or ram, but with his messy hair it was hard to tell which. He was the one who lacked the strength in his voice. The last man would be the problem. He was clearly built stronger than the others, and had the look of a Leonin about him. He was also the only one who had drawn his weapon already, a short curved blade which he held before him.Jade analyzes her opponents.
Demi-Humans are any race of humanoid that has traits of another species, usually, but not limited to, animals.
Their origin varies from world to world, and the reasons for these traits are just as varied.
Their culture ranges just as much as regular humans, and can lead to racial and cultural conflicts, with some races trying to dominate others with their strength or natural weapons.
A further study into individual worlds and their differences, is required.
RECOVERED RECORD
A genera recap found within the Book of Knowledge
WHAT IS KNOWN
• Demi-humans are almost as broad in differences as normal human, maybe moreso.
• Usually their traits are animalistic, mammals, insects, reptiles, or even dragons being the most common, but others do exist.
• Some worlds have records of how these traits came about, others legends.
• The most common creation of Demi-humans usually comes from magic, but others are recorded. Such as outside interference, selective breeding, and genetic manipulation.
• Some races have natural weapons or armour.
•Differences in species has lead to many conflicts on many worlds, amplifying the division that even normal humans have.
UNRESOLVED RECORDS
Some Demi-humans may even be celestial, or Infernal in origin, but this has never been verified.
There are some races that are Demi-humans, but even they themselves would not know it.
ARCHIVIST’S NOTE
