It is the lifeblood of the Tapestry itself. It is where we believe the souls of all living things come from, and go to when we pass.
But it is more than that. It has a will of its own, made up of the shifting wills of all the life that inhabits it.
It is theorised to be where our own personal energies come from,

The Source is a flowing river of energy that weaves between the Tapestry.
The closest thing angels have to a religion, is their connection to the Source, and the prophecies spoken by the Inner Court.
The Inner Court are the group of Angels who connect to the Source in a meditative state, and speak the prophecies which the Scribes then copy down for later interpretation.
The Source itself is believed to have a will of its own and can effect events throughout the Tapestry, but no one knows if this is certain. All that is certain, is that it is made up of the same energies that flow through all living things, and their auras.

WHAT IS KNOWN
• The Source is a very real, tangible thing.
• Its energy can be sensed by those with powerful aura abilities.
• It ‘feels’ alive to those who can sense it.
• Angels theorise it is either where souls come from, or where they end up, though neither theory is confirmed.
• It has not been documented for thousands of years, but it can be affected by large groups of people.
•He’aeven is the closest realm physically to it. Meaning, the barriers between them are thin there.
UNRESOLVED RECORDS
It is actually unknown if the Source has anything to do with souls, or the afterlife. Or if it even has anything to do with souls or aura in general.
The prophecies that come from the Inner Court are usually accurate, but their interpretation and translation, are not always agreed upon, and many prophecies lay within the archives of Heaven, unresolved.
Most major events, and changes to the multiverse, have been mentioned in a prophecy before they happened.
The Angels believe that maintaining the balance is important to the Source.
ARCHIVIST’S NOTE
It is unknown if the Court has ever been wrong before, usually it is decided that the words of the prophecy were just interpreted wrong, or forgotten.
